History

"Grab" was a demon in the employ of the crossroads demon Barthamus, who specialized in bypassing supernatural security systems. He spent years perfecting a spell known as Sanguis infernus to locate Luther Shrike's vault.

Meeting with Barthamus, Sam and Dean are introduced to "Smash" and "Grab", and they formulate a plan to break into Luther Shrike's vault.

After infiltrating Luther Shrike's property, Dean summons "Grab" to their location as Alice looks on. With his arrival, Dean asks "Grab" where the vault is located, and "Grab" admits he does not know. He tells Dean that his blood will act as a dowsing rod, due to having been to Hell. Dean, "Smash," and "Grab" begin wandering around the grounds, following the compass in Dean's arm, until they reach a cellar door. "Grab" refuses to enter, telling Dean that his job is done, and it's up to him and "Smash" to open the vault while he waits outside the cellar door. As Dean and "Smash" continue to try and bypass the security system, "Grab" yells down for a progress report but is ignored, to his annoyance. Suddenly, Luther is beside "Grab" and stabs him with Ruby's knife, killing him.
