KazCon

KazCon 2007 is held from August, 2nd to August, 5th 2007 in Lawrence, Kansas.

KazCon is a fan-organized event held in Lawrence, KS, the birthplace of Dean and Sam Winchester. Show creator, Eric Kripke, notes Lawrence as being significant to the series myth-arc due to its proximity to Stull Cemetery and haunted history.

The first convention, Back Home Again, was held August 2nd-5th, 2007, with attendees from US, Canada, and Australia. The success of the first event has prompted a return to the boys’ roots to celebrate the success of the fourth season of Supernatural, see old friends, and meet new ones.

To Hell and Back, KazCon 2009 will be held in the same event location on August 6th-9th, 2009. The Con will include a charity auction with proceeds going to National Lung Cancer Partnership in Memory of Kim Manners, panel discussions, a Supernatural-Jeopardy game for each season of the show, fanfiction contest, vid contest, a Ghost Tour of Lawrence, a theme party, and much more.
