5.15 Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid

Owen is raised from the dead by Death. At first, his parents welcome this, glad to have their child back. Unfortunately, a few days later, Owen develops a fever and turns into a zombie. He then kills and eats his father. When Jody witnesses this, Sam turns up and takes her out of the house before returning to kill Owen with a headshot.

9.19 Alex Annie Alexis Ann

When Jody takes Alex to her cabin outside of Sioux Falls to keep her safe, she tells her she has lots of great memories of the place, including spending time there with her husband and Owen. Inside the cabin, Alex finds a framed picture of Jody, Sean, and Owen. She inquires about where they are, and infers from Jody's silence that they're dead.

Later, Celia accuses Jody of using Alex to fill the hole in her life that was left when Owen died. Jody agrees.

10.08 Hibbing 911

After Jody stands up to Donna's abusive ex-husband, Donna admonishes her, saying, "'Til you've actually lost a husband, you keep your mouth zipped about mine." This triggers a flashback for Jody to memories of Sean and Owen, ending with the night Owen killed Sean.

12.06 Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox

After finding out that the Winchesters neglected to tell her that their mother had been resurrected, Jody tells Dean that she understands the complexities of his situation.

Jody: If I could have my son and my husband back, I mean... really back... I would give anything—absolutely anything—to have that. And it would scare the hell out of me.
