Sheriff Donna Hanscum tells Sam and Dean that her husband had left her the previous year after feeling that she loved cookie dough milkshakes more than she loved him. Dean comments that Doug is a dick, and that she deserves better.

10.08 Hibbing 911

While his ex-wife, Sheriff Donna Hanscum, is greeting Sheriff Jody Mills as she arrives at the Minnesota-Dakotas Sheriffs' Retreat, Doug appears and snarkily comments on Donna's weight loss. He manipulates her into giving him extra meal vouchers before grabbing some suckers from a candy bowl and walking off.

Later, at the bar, Donna watches on miserably as Doug dances with another female sheriff.

The next day, when Donna and Jody are at the gun booth and are talking with the misogynistic salesman, Doug saunters over and tells the salesman that Donna is a wolf in sheepskin. When Donna tells him to save his compliments for other girls, he asks if she's back on the dating scene. When she replies that she's not, he mocks her weight again, groping her. Having lost her patience, Jody steps up and scolds Doug for his incessant fat-shaming, calling him a douche. Speechless, Doug decides to just walk away.
