In [[8.07 A Little Slice of Kevin]], Castiel pulls his blade on [[Crowley]], indicating that these blades are effective against demons as well as angels. Crowley dismisses the threat, but Castiel later confirms it in [[8.10 Torn and Frayed]] and it is seen when [[Sam]] kills two [[demon]]s with one.
In [[8.19 Taxi Driver]], it is shown that an angel blade can kill a [[reaper]], as demonstrated when [[Crowley]] kills the rogue reaper [[Ajay]] with one of his angel blades. In [[8.21 The Great Escapist]], Crowley has a blade melted-down into bullets for [[Crowley's Gun|a gun]]. As long as the wound is fatal, the bullets work just as well as the sword itself.
