According to [[Crowley]], this scythe can kill [[reaper]]s, [[demon]]s and [[angel]]s<ref>[[5.21 Two Minutes to Midnight]]</ref> Crowley also told [[Dean]] and [[Sam]] that according to current rumors, this weapon can kill [[Death]]. This is confirmed when Dean kills uses the scythe on Death with it to protect Sam. The scythe crumbles to dust with its master afterwards.
