History
Following his birth, the Winchesters take him in, both to keep watch over him and to keep him from hurting anyone, while also hoping to use him to access the [[Apocalypse World]] where Mary is trapped. [[Sam]] is able to connect with him since they both know what it feels like to have a darkness inside them. Jack initially sees Castiel as his father, but when told that Castiel is dead, he became emotionally attached to Sam instead. Jack is also later able to bond with Castiel and understand why he and Kelly trusted him after he brought him back from [[the Empty]].<ref name="thirteen06">[[13.06 Tombstone]]</ref> After being slow to accept Jack, [[Dean]] eventually declares him a member of [[Team Free Will]].<ref name="thirteen06" /> This acceptance allows Jack to see the Winchesters and Castiel as his family.<ref name="thirteen09">[[13.09 The Bad Place]]</ref>
After burning off his entire [[soul]] to kill [[Michael (Apocalypse World)|Michael]],<ref name="fourteen14">[[14.14 Ouroboros]]</ref><ref name="fourteen17">[[14.17 Game Night]]</ref> Jack accidentally killed [[Mary Winchester]] in a [[soulless]] rage.<ref name="fourteen18">[[14.18 Absence]]</ref> Targeted Jack was targeted as a threat by the Winchesters, Dean in particular, for his acts, Jack was killed by however he couldn't bring himself to kill the young nephilim. After discovering that [[God]] when He was manipulating their lives as part of a sick story, including manipulating Dean to kill Jack, he killed Jack himself and began the end of the world.<ref name="fourteen20">[[14.20 Moriah]]</ref> His corpse was subsequently possessed by the [[demon]] [[Belphegor]] during his brief time on Earth before Castiel smote the demon, destroying Jack's corpse.<ref name="fifteen01">[[15.01 Back and to the Future]]</ref><ref name="fifteen02">[[15.02 Raising Hell]]</ref><ref name="fifteen03">[[15.03 The Rupture]]</ref>
After spending months in [[the Empty]], Jack was resurrected by [[Billie]] once God left the Earth. Billie provided Jack with a plan that would enable him to become strong enough to kill God Himself.<ref name="fifteen11">[[15.11 The Gamblers]]</ref> Initially resurrected soulless,<ref name="fifteen12">[[15.12 Galaxy Brain]]</ref> Jack's soul was subsequently restored by the [[Garden of Eden]] after he visited it through [[the Occultum]].<ref name="fifteen13">[[15.13 Destiny's Child]]</ref>
