* Although obviously not Death's scythe, a very similar sickle can be seen on the table in the basement of [[Rufus's Cabin|Rufus's cabin]] when [[Dean]] takes [[Kevin Tran]] there in [[7.21 Reading Is Fundamental]].
* In [[13.05 Advanced Thanatology]], Billie tells Dean that she knows better than to keep her scythe within his reach. In [[15.18 Despair]], she makes just that mistake, setting it down against a table near Dean while she reads [[Chuck's Death Book]], allowing him to attack her with it.
