Changes

In [[4.17 It's A Terrible Life]], subsequently places [[Dean]] and [[SamWinchester]] into a line of work without their memories. Zachariah acts as [[Dean]]'s manager and imployer who is affiliated with the company. Near the end of the episode, however, he reveals himself as being a direct superior of [[Castiel]]. He explains that Dean was has always destined to be a hunter and is needed to do something special, and that he has been deployed because of situation with Uriel and claims that he is here to make sure that the seals don't break.

Later in[[4.18 The Monster At The End Of This Book]], after the confrontation between Lilith and Sam and the intervention of an Archangel on Chuck's behalf, Zachariah appears before [[Chuck Shurley]] and tells him to continue writing, and warns him not to alert Sam and Dean, and that the angels will revive him if he commits sucicide.
