In the lab, Dean and Cass finally locate Roman. Dean decapitates the lab tech and Cass attacks Dick, who just grabs him and throws him aside while Dean stabs Dick with the bone. But it doesn't work! Dick pulls it out, thinking they've failed, but Cass grabs him from behind and Dean stabs him, again, in the neck with another bone - the real one this time. The first bone was used to catch him off-guard. Sam and Kevin arrive just as Dick, smiling and laughing, explodes into a huge burst of black goo. When the smoke settles, Sam notices that not only is Dick gone, but so are Castiel and Dean! Crowley comes in with two demons who kidnap Kevin. Sam asks him where Dean and Cass are and Crowley tells him that he does not know and that he (Sam) is all alone now. Crowley then vanishes.
Dean wakes up in some dark, scary-looking woods along with Castiel. Cass explains to him that somehow, they've been transported to [[Purgatory]]. He also says that odds are they will both be killed rather than escape. He teleports away leaving Dean behind. He Dean looks all around him and sees the souls of several monsters closing in on him.
