Ten Inch Hero
Ten Inch Hero is a movie about "Love, Sex, and Sandwiches Sold by the Inch", starring Elisabeth Harnois, Clea DuVall, Sean Patrick Flanery, Jensen Ackles, and Danneel Harris
Set around the lives and loves of four friends who work in a sandwich shop in Santa Monica, the movie was written by Betty Morris and directed by David Mackay.
Jensen shot the movie in the break between Season One and Two of Supernatural in SanPedro, Los Angeles from June 17 to July 9 2006. He had previously worked with friend Danneel Harris on the short film The Plight of Clownana in 2004. Reputedly the two, who married in May 2010, started dating around the time of filming Ten Inch Hero.
It was known that Jensen sported a colored mohawk, piercings, and tattoos for the role, however images of him were tightly controlled until the movie started screening at festivals. Initial stills featured only a silhouette of his mohawk. At All Hell Breaks Loose Sydney 2009 Jensen confirmed that the mohawk was all his own hair!
Plastic Winchester!Theatre was mentioned on the TIH Blogspot when it featured plastic!Priestly.
The movie was released straight to DVD.
