Walker looks at his phone to see missed calls from Ranger HQ and Captain James and pulls the other phone out of Stan's hands. Stan tell him he had to do what he has to do. Walker can see right through Stan's plan on turning the narrative. At police HQ, everyone is on the phone and place is buzzing, Captain James leaves another VM for Walker then he tells everyone to continue to work, and not get distracted. James calls Micki, who at first is hesitant to answer as she is having a good time with Trey and his mother. James tells Micki about what Walker has done and that he needs her to find him and find out what is going on. Micki returns Walker's phone call. Walker proceeds to tell her about Stan including Mendoza and what happened to Santos. She urges him to bring him in. Walker tells Micki that she is the only one he can trust and he needs her to go off book to protect Mendoza. Micki tells him that she will help and then proceeds to ask Trey for help as well. Bonham and Abeline are sharing in some bourbon and honey, August is exploring around and Liam and Bret are setting up the table with the wedding cake and some decorations. At the same time, August finds a cigar box and Liam receives a message from his office. August opens it up to see two of the orange poker chips that were in the same set that he showed Walker that was purchased by Emily. Liam runs and tells his family about how Walker has Stan. As they are driving, two police cars pull up from Travis County. Walker can sense that they are not friendlies and he is right. They all exchange gun fire as they are shooting at Stan as well as the inside cops don't want him to talk. Walker takes out their tires so they are unable to follow and tells Stan to turn south towards the boarder.
Walker is on the phone with Bonham who pleads with him to not shut them out as he needs family right now. The Walker family knows that Stan was involved as well. Walker tells Liam that his office needs to protect Mendoza and he knows everything. Liam tells him he will do it and then Walker tells him the plan he has just come up with. At the hospital, Micki is worried that Trey may get hurt. Trey tells her that he has her six on this. Micki snags a doctor's ID and Trey pretends he is a doctor to get access to Mendoza's room and the nurse gives him the information. Both Micki and Trey go into the room and they tell Mendoza who they are and that they are going to take him somewhere safe. In the hallway there is a strange man who Micki knows he was sent to kill him. They are able to get Mendoza clear of the hospital and take him to the SIDE Step. Micki tells her about how Stan killed Emily and that Mendoza needs protection until protective custody. Micki tells her that she is the only one she can trust and Geri agrees but askes where Walker is as she worried. It's night fall, Walker has taken them to the exact spot Emily died. Stan gets out of the truck and is face to face with the Walker Family. Walker tells him that this all ends tonight with the truth.
Walker demands Stan to tell the family exactly what happened as they deserve to know as she was taken from them in a violent way. Stan starts to tell them what happened as flashbacks to that night start to roll. Emily overhears something and takes a look. She has a phone out and sees the truck with drugs. Cali sees this and Emily starts to run. Cali takes a shot and hits Emily. Emily falls to the ground and phone next to her. Walker interjects and tells Stan that there were two bullet holes in his wife. Cali seems to be the one calling the shots and Stan pleads for him to take her to the hospital as he tells Cali that she is the wife a Texas Ranger. Cali tells him that he needs to end this and kill her before she does. Stan is in way to deep at this point and then only way to keep him safe is he needs to do it. Stan then pulls the trigger as he says "I'm sorry" Stella, Bonham, Abeline and August all take turns to jab on Stan for what he has done as he has been lying to them all.
