Synopsis
Castiel, after discovering the death of an angel from his garrison for the seventh time, joins Uriel to ask Dean for help torchering Alistair for the name of the demon responsible for the angels' deaths. Dean refuses but Uriel tells him that he does not have a choice and Dean his transported to the place Alistair is being kept.
Dean tells Uriel that he wants to talk to Castiel alone. After Uriel leaves to receive new orders, Castiel tells Dean that the reason Uriel has been placed in charge is because he has recently been expressing emotion and sympathy for Dean.
Meanwhile, Sam explains to Ruby that Dean is not strong enough to torcher Alistair because 'something' happened to him in Hell. He tells Ruby to find the place Alistair is being kept.
Alistair proceeds to tell Dean about the 100 years he spent torchering his father, John Winchester, and how he thought that Dean would provide the same resistance.
Ruby finds Alistair's location Sam tells Ruby about how he has waited for weeks but he needs to be strong enough to confront Alistair.
Anna comes to talk to Castiel near the place Alistair is being torchered.
