|outline= When couples begin to kill each other in obscene way, [[Castiel ]] suspects a [[Cupid]] has gone rogue.

|Synopsis= Around St. Valentine's Day, people begin killing themselves in odd ways, such as Cupid reveals himself to be a couple who ate each other to death. [[Sam]] naked man and [[goes around giving Dean]] visit the coroner to check out the bodies , Castiel and Sam sees a suspicious man walking past him in big hugs, which include lifting them up off the hallwayfloor. As Castiel adds that this is the brothers examine the hearts Cupids way of the victimsshaking hands (and that nobody likes it). As they interrogate Cupid, he says that he isn't causing his charges to slaughter each other, Sam notices what he thinks 's simply following the orders from Heaven to be an match them up. When Dean questions that these are "orders", Cupid says that some couples, like [[EnochianJohn]] Sigil on both hearts. They show them to and [[CastielMary Winchester]] and he agrees, saying that the sigils are a sign that the two people were intended just meant to mate, be together and thinks that it is the work of a cupid (a lower level angel, cherub 3rd class) gone rogue. Castiel takes the brothers to a restaurant where [[CupidHeaven]] is sure uses Cupids to be. As the waitress brings over the food that insure important things, such as Sam and Dean have ordered, being born. This upsets Dean doesn't feel like eating his burger and Castiel takes ithe punches the Cupid, intending to eat causing it himself. Cupid arrives at the restaurant as wind, which makes many of the couples in the restaurant start to get lovey-dovey. Castiel traps Cupid in the back room of the restaurant upset also and forces him to show himselfleave.

Cupid reveals himself Another person dies and Sam goes to be check it out at the coroner's office. On his way out he sees the [[demon]] from before carrying a naked man briefcase, follows him into an alley and goes around giving Deanattacks him with [[Ruby's knife]]. The Demon gets away, Castiel and but Sam big hugsgets its briefcase. At the motel, Sam and Dean open the briefcase which include lifting them up off the flooris full of white light. Castiel adds shows up eating a hamburger and tells them that this is the Cupids way of shaking hands. As they interrogate Cupidlight was a human soul, he says that it isn't his fault his charges are slaughtering each other, that he's just following orders from Heavenwhich is most likely intended to use as a food source. He says believes that some couples, like the town is suffering from [[JohnFamine]] and , one of the [[Mary WinchesterFour Horsemen of the Apocalypse]] were just meant to be together and that Heaven uses Cupids to insure that Sam and Dean were born. This upsets Dean and he punches , who brings out the Cupidthings people really starve for in themselves: sex, attention, drugs, causing it to get upset love... everybody is starving for something. Castiel also and leavebelieves that he himself has been infected by his vessel's fondness for red meat.

Another person dies and Sam goes to check it out Famine, a very old frail looking man in a wheelchair, arrives at the coronera restaurant in a [[Famine's office and his way out he sees the [[DemonCar|black Cadillac Escalade]] from before carrying a briefcase, follows him into an alley and attacks him with [[RubyLucifer]]'s Knife]]demons flanking him. The Demon gets away, but Sam gets its briefcase. As soon as he enters the restaurant, the customers begin giving in to their cravings, many of them fatally. The demon that Sam attacked also arrives toting Sam's room key and gives it to Famine. After telling the starving Famine that he has lost the human soul to Sam, Famine consumes the demon instead. Dean wants to go after Famine and cut off his power by cutting the ring off of his finger, much like with [[War]], but Sam says that he cannot go. He thinks he's been infected and is craving [[Demon Blooddemon blood]]. Dean handcuffs Sam to a pipe in the bathroom and Cas pushes a dresser in front of the door to keep him inside when they're out hunting Famine. Cas and Dean go to the coroner's office and find that the coroner had been infected and, after 20 years of sobriety, drank himself to death. Cas notices the demons have not yet harvested his the coroner's soul and they stake out the place from the [[Impala]], while Castiel eats hamburgers the entire time.

Sam busts bursts into the restaurant and Famine stops his demons from capturing him. Famine tells Sam that he sent the demons earlier as a snack, that Sam won’t die from drinking too much blood, he’s the exception and that is exactly what Lucifer wanted. Famine offers his demons to Sam, but he refuses and exorcises all of the demons in the room at once; however, Famine consumes them instead of letting them get sent back to Hell. Sam attempts to exorcise Famine, but it doesn’t work, so he decides to exorcise all the demons that Famine has eaten, which seemingly destroys the horseman.  Dean and Castiel lock Sam up in [[Bobby's Panic Room]], and Castiel tells Dean that it isn’t Sam inside, that he just needs to detox. As he goes outside for some air, Dean stops drinking his whiskey and begins to tear up. He prays, asking for Heaven’s help, and begins to cry.
