- A reference to the story of the same name about a yellow Mastador who becomes rapid and is put down by its boy owner.

David Lassiter: Sound good, Buffy.
- Romeo is a reference to the ill-fated lover in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Buffy is a reference to the vampire slayer from the TV series named after her. Coincidentally, Sarah Michelle Gellar tweeted a picture of herself with a Supernatural poster.
