Henry Winchester uses a blood spell to travel from 1958 to 2013. It involves:
- a sigil drawn in blood
- an Enochian invocation:

kah-nee-lah puh-goh kah-nee-lah
Blood unto blood
- the feather of an angel, the tear of a dragon and a pinch of the sands of time
- the power of his Soul
Henry says that as "blood calls to blood" it transports the user to someone related by blood.
