Bloodlust
A desire by vampires for bloodshed. Vampires in most folk lore must drink fresh blood on a regular basis to survive.

While most lore on vampires is not true, the bloodlust however, is true. When a human is first turned into a vampire, they are quickly hit with an intense hunger to feed on human blood. Doing so completes the vampiric transformation, making the infection irreversible. Some vampires have been shown to be able to control their bloodlust, like Lenore and her fellow vampires in 2.03 Bloodlust, who sate their thirst with cow blood, as well as Benny Lafitte, who kept his hunger in check by feeding on bloodbags.
