Bowhunting (archery)

The practice of using a bow and arrow to shoot. Bowhunting has historically been used in hunting and combat, and has become a precision sport.

1.08 Bugs

Sam: Well, Dad never treated you like that. You were perfect. He was all over my case. You don’t remember?
Dean: Well, maybe he had to raise his voice, but sometimes, you were out of line.
Sam: Right. Right, like when I said I’d rather play soccer than learn bowhunting.
Dean: Bowhunting’s an important skill.

Dean: So what are you saying? That Dad was disappointed in you?
Sam: Was? Is. Always has been.
Dean: Why would you think that?
Sam: Because I didn’t wanna bowhunt or hustle pool –- because I wanted to go to school and live my life, which, to our whacked-out family, made me the freak.

John, Sam, and Dean carry and use crossbows while raiding a vampire nest.

Dean: So. I pick up this crossbow. And I hit that ugly sucker with a silver-tipped arrow right in his heart.

8.16 Remember the Titans

Artemis uses a bow and arrow and aims it at Zeus to get him to stop torturing Prometheus. She fires an arrow, but Zeus pulls Prometheus in between them to block the shot. When Zeus threatens to put Oliver on the mountain, Prometheus jams the arrow deeper into himself, causing it to pierce Zeus's heart, effectively killing them both.

Kevin shoots a crossbow bolt at Dean as Dean is entering the Bunker, but he misses.
