- Dean and Cassie met and were romantically involved whilst Dean was doing a job near her college campus (In Athens, Ohio) between 2002-05. Cassie broke up with Dean after Dean told her about hunting.
- Cassie is a journalist for the local newspaper in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
- Cassie's mother name is Audrey.
- Cassie's father Martin Robinson, and her boss newspaper editor Jimmy Anderson, are killed by Cyrus Dorian's spirit.
- At the end of the episode, Dean hopes there may be some possibility of renewing things with Cassie, but she disagrees. Despite Cassie's hesitation Dean insists that he will return at some point in time, "Cassie I'll see you, I will."
