- Dean and Cassie met and were romantically involved whilst Dean was doing a job near her college campus (In Athens, Ohio) between 2002-05. Cassie broke up with Dean after Dean told her about hunting.
- Cassie is a journalist for the local newspaper in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
- Cassie's father Martin Robinson, and her boss newspaper editor Jimmy Anderson, are killed by Cyrus Dorian's spirit.
- At the end of the episode, Dean hopes there may be some possibility of renewing things with Cassie, but she disagrees.
