Cole Griffith was the first person to die before the miracles started happening in 4.15 Death Takes A Holiday. Sam and Dean, desperate to learn some 'ghost moves', asked Cole for help. At the end of the episode, Cole, after hearing his choice of either staying on earth after his family died or going with Tessa, agrees to leave.
