* In [[15.04 Atomic Monsters]], when ambushing a vampire suspect, Sam hides a syringe of dead man's blood behind his back. However, they realize the girl is innocent as she has braces on her teeth, which a vampire couldn't have due to their fangs.
* In [[15.09 The Trap]], in the [[Chuck's Endings|Butch and Sundance ending]], [[Jody Mills]] shoots the vampire Sam with a dead man's blood bullet before being killed by Dean. The dead man's blood causes Sam to collapse, allowing [[Bobby Singer (Apocalypse World)|Bobby]] to kill him.
