Marco
Nearly a year later, Jervis and another demon are employed by Lucifer to clean up his burned-out vessels. Now completely loyal to Lucifer, both demons openly mock Crowley's plans to kill Lucifer and reclaim the throne of Hell. Enraged by their audacity, Crowley kills Jervis and the other demon with an angel blade.

Frightened of Crowley's potential wrath, Marco refuses to talk beyond admitting that he has no love for Amara who has consumed many of Marco's friends. Sam suggests using an exorcism on Marco instead of killing him to save Marco's meatsuit with Marco promising not to reveal their encounter if they do. However, the Winchesters discover that Marco's meatsuit is mortally wounded and realize that they can't save him. Dean kills Marco using the demon-killing knife and the Winchesters use information lifted from Marco's cell phone to help track down Crowley's lair.

Barthamus
A powerful Crossroads Demon that calls himself "the Crossroads Demon" following Crowley's ascension to King of Hell. Dissatisfied with Asmodeus' rule of Hell, Barthamus steals a Nephilim tracking spell and offers to it to Sam and Dean in exchange for them stealing back his personal property, revealed to be Barthamus' human bones, from Luther Shrike. The Winchesters, Alice and Grab steal the bones, but Grab is killed by Luther in the process. When confronted, Luther reveals that he had made a deal with Barthamus centuries before to save his dying son's life, only to have Barthamus let him later die anyway. Disgusted by Barthamus' actions and his subsequent murder of Luther, the Winchesters refuse to complete their deal. Barthamus is killed when Alice burns his human bones, but the fire of the demon's destruction also destroys the Nephilim tracking spell.
