Believing Dean to be a killer, Diana Ballard and partner Peter Sheridan arrest and interrogate Dean and Sam in Baltimore. Diana begins to believe the brothers’ story of the supernatural when she is visited and warned by the death omen Claire. She learns that her partner and lover Peter is a liar and a murderer who is trying to frame Dean for two murders he himself committed. With the new knowledge of her partner and of the supernatural she decides to let the brothers’ go.
Trivia note: In Homage of Linda Blair's role in The Exorcist, as they walk away at the end, Dean says, "Does she look familiar to you?" Sam replies, "No, why?" Dean says, "I don't know. Are you hungry? For some reason I could really go for some pea soup."
