Changes

The Writers Guild of America strike began Monday, November 5, 2007, and ended February 26, 2008. As the strike began, scripts which were already written were allowed to be filmed, but no new writing could be done. After the strike, new scripts had to be written before filming could begin. Supernatural was able to produce 4 episodes after the strike and before the end of the shooting season. 4 episodes is 32 filming days, or a bit over 5 6 weeks.<br>

Filming ends mid-ended on 21 April 2015.<br>

This might mean some changes to the filming schedule around that time. For example, there are rumors of episodes focused on Castiel which could free Jensen up from filming.
