Characteristics

Not much is known about the "gorilla-wolves" that inhabit Purgatory, not even their true names, as the term "gorilla-wolves" was coined by Dean Winchester after encountering them upon his arrival in Purgatory. Only things that are known of these monsters is that they seem to travel in packs, appear to be quadrupeds that can move very quickly, and have glowing red eyes.

After killing Dick Roman, the "gorilla-wolves" were the first creatures that Dean Winchester and Castiel encountered in Purgatory.
