A term used to refer to Sam and Dean in the Television Without Pity recaps of Supernatural, it refers to brothers who are amateur detectives in the boys' own adventure children's books.


In Canon, Sam and Dean have been referred to as the Hardy Boys on two occasions, by one of the pagan gods in 3.08 A Very Supernatural Christmas, and by the demon Crowley in 5.10 Abandon All Hope.... Mattron also uses the term in 9.22 Stairway to Heaven.
