History
The nameless hunter was a mentor to a young John Winchester after the death of Mary. Nothing of his past history is revealed, other than he was sent to put John Winchester on the path to becoming a hunter for unspecified reasons. After his true actions were revealed, he was shoved off a cliff by John.
