Jesse is the son of Julia Wright, conceived and born while she was possessed by a demon. It should be noted however, that how he was conceived is still unclear as Jesse is apparently unique or at least not easily replicated, and possessions do not usually cause pregnancies.
As a half-human, half-demon being, he is more powerful than either. Castiel says that there is no way that Winchesters could keep him prisoner and that Jesse is capable of transporting himself halfway around the world at a thought. Jesse is said to be capable of destroying The Host of Heaven with just a word. Not known whether to be taken literally. If he did this he would end up destroying Heaven's angelic society.
Jesse's belief in such old tales such as people's faces freezing in unpleasant expressions and hair growing on the palms of masturbators, causes these tales to be true for about a two mile radius around his house. (Although the radius could grow as he matures into his powers). Upon realizing his power, Jesse proved to be capable of turning an angel into an action figure and exorcising a demon with no visible effort.
It is implied that Jesse transported himself to Australia at the end of the episode.
It should also be noted that Jesse, as the Antichrist or Cambion is not the son of Lucifer--as explained by Castiel, but simply the spawn birthed from a human and a demon.
Characteristics
- According to Castiel, Jesse can completely destroy and vanquish all the angels in Heaven with a single word.
- Jesse can warp reality. He was able to alter reality by making a girl scratch her brains out using itching power, literally. He also did so by producing the tooth fairy, and also by making toy buzzers real and effective,
- Jesse can achieve terrakinesis just by clenching his fists together, and he can also exorcise demons just by looking at their human host using telekinesis.
- Jesse is capable of instant teleportation, allowing him to disappear at a single thought, therefore he cannot be confined or contained against his will.
- During a state of panic, Jesse effortlessly transformed Castiel into an action figure.
- Jesse shares the same last name as another half-human, Half-Demon on the WB show Charmed who was named Cole Turner.
