John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer from Cook County, Illinois, who was executed on May 10, 1994, for the rape, torture, and murder of 33 teenage boys from 1972 to 1978.

After their attempt to retrieve the skull of Sarah Good from a pawn shop owner who had killed and stolen it from a hunter leads to the owner's death, Sam and Dean collect all his mystical items to bring back to the Men of Letters Bunker.
