Frank Baum was a member of the [[Men of Letters]], as well as the writer of ''The Wonderful World of Oz'' and its subsequent sequels. At some point he traveled to the [[Oz|Land of Oz]] with his daughter [[Dorothy]], who became trapped there. Baum started writing the ''Oz'' novels, leaving left various clues in the text providing clues on hwo how to battle the [[the Wicked Witch of the West]]in the "Oz" novels.
