The Real L. Frank Baum
L. Frank Baum was an American writer from the early 20th century, best known for his fantasy works about a magical land called Oz. His best known work is The Wonderful Wizard of Oz which has been adapted into musicals and many movies, most famously the 1939 film Wizard of Oz starring Judy Garland.
While in Supernatural, the character of Dorothy was written as his daughter, in real life Baum only had four sons and no daughters.
