While Dean is trying to find help for Sam, Bobby's journal inexplicably falls on the floor, and a card for "Mackey's Taxidermy" falls out. He contacts Mackey who returns his call, expressing sadness over Bobby's death.
He tells Dean he had heard stories of a healer called Emmanuel. Suspicious, he tracked him down through his wife Daphne Allen in Colorado. When Emmanuel visited him, he touched Mackey, and actually restored the sight in his damaged eye.
