Changes

Mary is a hunter. She is the mother of [[Dean]] and [[Sam]], and married [[John Winchester]]. She is the daughter of hunters [[Deanna Campbell]] and [[Samuel Campbell]]. She was raised as a [[hunter]] by her parents but left the "business" after she met John. In 1973, after [[Azazel]] killed John, Mary made a deal with in order to resurrect him. This involved her granting him access to her home ten years hence. It was during that visited that she was killed. She was 29 when [[Azazel]] killed her and a headstone was erected for her in Greenville, Illinois.

There are indications that her marriage to John was not entirely happy <ref>[[5.16 Dark Side of the Moon]]</ref>, and that Heaven may have been involved in bringing them together, in order for Dean and Sam to be born <ref>[[5.14 My Bloody Valentine]]</ref>. Dean remembers her making tomato adn rice soup for him when he was sick, and singing "Hey, Jude" to him as a lullaby. <ref>[[5.13 The Song Remains the Same]]<ref>.

She has at least one unnamed uncle, who [[Sam]] and Dean have never met.<ref name="two04">[[2.04 Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things]]</ref> [[Ruby]] mentions a Robert Campbell as either an uncle, a friend or an acquaintance of Mary, which might be this uncle. She kept extensive journals.<ref>[[The Journal (diary entries)]]</ref> She was 29 when [[Azazel]] killed her and a headstone was erected for her in Greenville, Illinois.
