Mercury appears to be the one running The Elysian Fields motel that Sam and Dean stay at. Due to his ability to move at high speeds he is able able to secure a vile of both brothers' blood for Kali, who uses the blood to bind them to her.

Powers and Abilities

  • Mercury can move his body at incredible speeds. He can move his body at such great speeds that the human eye cannot perceive him.
  • His reflexes and reaction time are both at god-like levels.
  • Mercury is the god who called Lucifer and told him to come to the hotel.
  • Mercury can effortlessly take down humans. Mercury demonstrated this in the opening scene of 5.19 Hammer Of The Gods; at the beginning of this episode we see a police officer roaming around what seems to be the remains of a decimated hotel, he hears a boom and he quickly turns to see Mercury, Mercury tells him that even he has a part to play - after addressing this, Mercury easily crushes the police officer's skeleton structure, leaving behind a sap of blood that splatters all over the wall. However, Mercury is no match for Kali nor is he a match for the archangel Lucifer; all Kali had to do was lock her eyes upon him, and he instantly started bleeding from his mouth. Lucifer on the other hand snapped Mercury's neck just by flicking his wrist.

Mercury in Lore
