Papa Ackles

Fandom (and apparently family) nickname for Jensen's father Alan Ackles.

The term was reportedly used by Jared as reported by faninohio on TWOP during their attendance at A Few Good Men in 2007, when Jared reportedly offered to buy him Skittles at intermission.

He played opposite Jensen as his character's father in Devour and has appeared twice in Supernatural, both times in epsiodes directed by Jensen. The first was as the voice of a newscaster in v and the second was as a detective in 8.03 Heartache.
