A sudden idea for a story that attacks you like a horde of wild bunnies and is equally difficult to get rid off.

It is rumored that the origin for this term is connected to the following John Steinbeck quote: "Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen."
