Before [[the fall Fall]] Rebecca was a known associate of [[Metatron]], after the fallFall, Rebecca gave up the warring and politics of [[Heaven]], believing that the angels have lost touch of their true mission. Unlike the other angel factions, the Penitents sought to live humbly among the humans, however Rebecca and her followers were all hunted down and killed by [[Bartholomew]], who feared they could grow into a bigger threat down the road.
