History

Richie was a hunter Dean met during a succubus hunt in Canarsie, Brooklyn, New York, during the years Sam was at Stanford. It is heavily implied by Dean that he saved Richie's life, during the hunt, though Richie would disagree.

Sam and Dean bump into Richie in Elizabethville, Ohio, while investigating strange happenings seemingly caused by demon activity. While there Richie was unable to find any hints of demon activity in the town, and during his investigation engaged in various acts of vice.

Richie later meets up with the Winchesters at Trotter's bar, when a fight breaks out at the bar Richie gets separated from the brothers when Casey lures him away to her home with the promise of sex. She then leads him into her cellar where she reveals herself to be a demon, and knows he is a hunter. As Casey draws a blade on him, Richie pulls one from his boot, but before he can act Casey stabs him and quickly twists his neck 180 degrees, killing him.

Dean revealed to Casey that he was able to track Richie by the GPS in his phone, and gave him a proper burial.
