Sandra McCoy was Jared Padalecki's long-term girlfriend. They met during the filming of Cry Wolf in 2004.

Biography

Full name: Sandra 'Sandy' Christina McCoy

Born: August 14, 1979, in San Jose, California

Parents: Gary and Madeline McCoy (both deceased)

Siblings: Younger brother- Mark (deceased)

Sandra was born and raised in San Jose, California. When she was fourteen, her parents and brother were killed in an aeroplane crash that left her the sole survivor.

She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Santa Clara University.

She met Jared when they both had roles in Cry Wolf. At the Salute to Supernatural Convention in L.A. in March 2008, Jared announced that on January 28th, 2008 they got engaged in their fourth anniversary, in Paris.

At the Salute to Supernatural Dallas 2008 in June 2008, Jared announced that he and Sandy were no longer together.

She married Brian Lopez July 20, 2013 and they have one son together, born February 2015.

Career

Sandra's first attempt at fame, a four-girl pop group, fell through but she's worked regularly as an actress and dancer. She was also a cheerleader for the LA Lakers in the 2002-3 season.

She starred in Cry Wolf with Jared and was recently a contestant on The Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, which was produced by Supernatural's McG. Her most recent film, Lost Signal, in which she stars as Tiffany Matthews, is due for release in 2007.

Sandy played the Crossroads Demon in 3.05 Bedtime Stories, who is summoned, and then killed by Sam.

Sandy's first official Supernatural convention appearance was at the Salute to Supernatural Convention in L.A. in March 2008.
