Seaon 5's horrific finale left dean alone as Sam descended into the tortures of Hell. Now a different man, Dean vows to stop hunting and build a family with Lisa and her son Ben. But - mysteriously - Sam returns and draws dean back into the old life. Sam's a different man too. The brothers will discover just how terrifyingly different as, side by side, they battle newly emboldened demons and monsters unrestrained by a Heaven and Hell left in chaos.
