Shaving People, Punting Things is a series of short videos produced by Phil Sgriccia, Todd Aronauer and the post-production team. They contain scenes or outtakes from upcoming episodes. These in-house videos are different from the official episode promos which are made by the CW Network.
In joke with fans, when a video is released, crew and cast who are on Twitter all get and email, and "spam" fandom with tweets about the video. The videos are posted on Vimeo and YouTube under accounts called Shaving People, Punting Things - a play on the Winchesters' mission of "Saving People, Hunting Things
