* There was an executioner in the 1680s named [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Ketch Jack Ketch], appointed by King Charles II, who was renowned for botching his kills.
* Mr. Ketch sports sported a Celtic cross tattoo on right handthroughout Season 12. Upon his return in Season 13, the tattoo is gone. It was revealed that after he was revived, is not clear if Ketch had his the tattoo removed at some pointintentionally or if his hand was fully healed as a by-product of the resurrection spell.
