→Rift Opening Spell
In [[14.09 The Spear]], [[Dark Kaia]] explains that she was able to use a spell from [[The Bad Place|her own world]] to open a rift to the Winchesters' world. However, this magic doesn't work in their world, so Dark Kaia can't use the same spell to go back home.
In [[15.13 Destiny's Child]] Sam uses a variation of the spell in the demon tablet, to pull Sam and Dean's [[Sam and Dean Winchester (HunterCorp)|alternate universe doubles]] -- who had been trapped between dimensions -- into their world. The main difference with the spell involved substituting archangel grace for some of Castiel's grace.
