Supanova Sydney 2008
Supanova is a popculture expo held in various cities around Australia each year. It features writers and performers from anime, comics, film and TV, with a focus on sci-fi.
In May 2008 it was announced that Jared Padalecki would be replacing Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) who had cancelled due to filming commitments. Jared was initially going to attend both the Sydney and Perth cons, but could not attend Perth on June 27-29 when it was announced filming of Supernatural would recommence in the first week in July (rather than July 14).
He appeared at the Sydney Supanova on June 21-22.
