By my understanding, at one point, SPN doujinshi were not even recognized as being fanworks in Japan; I remember reading about someone finding one in the "original" section at a shop. More recently though, I believe that Supernatural has become the most popular imported TV series to rent (or something like that) in Japan, so that's presumably the reason for the rise in popularity. Does anyone have a link to the article about the popularity of SPN in Japan? It's pertinent for this article I think. IsaacSapphire 07:01, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
