Could this portion be rewritten for clarity? I'm having difficulty understanding the bolded section, in particular.

11.12 - SPNMedia reopens, stating "Five months ago SPNMEDIA had a disagreement with the LJ Community about the future release of additional photography and also some hosting problems." The disagreement arose when fans complained that SPNMedia only distributed content to people who had joined the message board "Seek the Truth" AND, to prove they are really interested, had a certain number of posts on their agenda. This didn't sit well with a lot of fans who were of the opinion that fannish content should be made available by other fans to everybody without exclusion. Following a hissyfit from the site's management, the former site was closed.

To clarify: To receive access to SPN Media photos, people had to join Seek the Truth and, to prove that they were really, really interested in getting the photos, had to have at least - I think it was 30 posts - to make, before they were allowed to see the SPN Media photos.
