I think that Zachariah did fool Dean with this 2014 future thing. As of now, the show has yet to support this idea and has yet to fulfill any of the futuristic themes that go along with this supposed future. I mean, if this 2014 future thing was accurate, the show would have already illustrated some common theme and connection to this futuristic ending that Zachariah seemingly foresaw.

Well Lucifer did talk about a showdown in Detroit with Sam, as was mentioned in 2014. And we know the Croatoan virus exists... so I think it might have been a real, possible future, but necessarily the only one. --Missyjack 02:27, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
