You’ve brought up an excellent point. However, Chuck did seem to know a lot about the Impala, possibly through Omniscience. Also, he did vanish at the end of episode [[5.22 Swan Song]]. Humans can't just disappear nor can Prophets. It's very safe to say that Chuck is God. In my opinion it was an excellent set up; he disguised himself as a prophet, but in reality he was God from fro the beginning ([[4.18 The Monster At The End Of This Book]])!
