Talk:Hustler Fic

Is hustler fic always AU? Because I've certainly seen fics that posit that Dean's hustling more than pool (and some where Sam joined in) that were supposed to be no more AU than any fanfic. Also, I think I remember Jensen saying in an interview that Dean might have done something like that at some point, so there is some kind of official support to that. I agree. I think the way AU has been used in a lot of the fic entries is too broad. Personally I would term AU as fic that deviates from significant canonical events eg John doesn't die, Sam and Dean aren't brothers, the Winchester grow up in Peru, and not just changes within canon eg Dean making money as a hustler.
